Join Friends Peace Teams – Asia West Pacific (FPT) and Friends World Committee for Consultation – Asia West Pacific (FWCC AWP) for a coordinated month of Quaker action in solidarity with the people of Burma/Myanmar for the month of February 2026.
Together, Quakers will bring our voices and efforts – small or large, as led – to oppose the horrific violence of the military regime in Burma/Myanmar against its own people.
February 2026 marks five years since the military junta overthrew the democratically elected government of Burma/Myanmar. During this month, we are invited to stand with those who continue to resist violence and repression.
Throughout the month, we’ll discover creative and practical ways to act for peace. Please invite your friends, meetings, groups, communities, institutions, and other organisations to join.
